Origin : E astern and Southern parts of China

Preparation : Cut root into longitudinal segments or oblique slices, and dried in the sun.

Properties : Bitter,  Sweet,  Acrid, Cool.

Meridians : Heart, Lung, Liver, Spleen.

Actions & Indications : Clears Heat, Expels toxins, Resolves swelling, Relieves pain, Rromotes new growth of tissues.

Contraindications : Do not use it with Wu Tou, Not good for ulcers.
