Preparation : The drug is collected in summer and autumn, cleaned, dried in the sun, and cut into pieces.  Or used freshly.

Properties : Bitter, Sweet, Cold.

Meridians : Liver, Stomach, Large intestine.

Actions & Indications :Clears Heat. Expels toxins.
                                       Drains Dampness.
