Botanical : Stemona sessilifolia (Mig.) Mig.

                   Stemona japonica Mig.

                   Stemona tuberosa Lour.

Description :Stemona Root.

Origin :Hubei, Guangdong, Bordering on Changjiang river China

Preparation : The herb is collected in spring and autumn, removed from rootlet, put in boiling water for a moment, dried in the sun, and cut into sticks for use.

Properties : Sweet, Bitter, Slightly warm

Meridians : Lung
